Curators’ Network is an initiative of  hablarenarte: in 2010, which works since then for the interconnection and the exchange of the local knowledges and for the mutual benefit of all implicated art professionals and their institutions.

Founder of Curators’ Network is hablarenarte: (Spain). Founding members of the Curators’ Network are the entities who joined hablarenarte: in the first three years of the project from 2010-2013: Kunsthalle Exnergasse (Austria), Studio of Young Artists (Hungary), Brukenthal Museum (Romania) and Foundation for Visual Arts (Poland).
Curators’ Network received a “Culture 2007-2013” grant of the European Commision between 2011 and 2013.

The general aim of Curators’ Network is to foster the international promotion and interconnection of art professionals who live and work in environments that can be considered peripheral to the main centres of contemporary art. It seeks making visible these professionals on an international scale as well as transferring local knowledge to an international community and vice versa. The activities of Curators’ Network are real-life events that are always combined with tools of digital promotion.
