What space is there for children in our society? And in cultural institutions?

After the first season of (re)vuelta al patio (return to the patio) in which we articulated two artistic residencies of investigation / action with the neighborhood and generated connections with the social context that surrounds the institution, in this second edition we continue the lines of work started, betting on form a stable community linked to the cultural center.

The long-term objective of return to the patio is to promote a critical and purposeful look from the perspective of childhood through play + thought + autonomy + space. Also, to promote gender equality, intergenerational ties and the participation of diverse families and migrants in the cultural life of the city, inside and outside cultural institutions

The first phase of this second edition of the program will work to generate and unite a group - understood as a research group and a learning community - made up of families, activists and associations from the environment. Through dialogue, rehearsal and co-creation of non-adultcentric experiences and spaces for artistic participation, proposals for action and transformation will be developed in and with Condeduque.

In the second phase, we will collectively design a play and creation action that encourages participation and the recovery of places for children on the street and in cultural institutions.

Inaugural meeting (registration is not necessary): Saturday, October 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. en la Sala Polivalente.
